Our Business

GLP Quality Consulting, LLC, based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, was founded in 2007 to provide Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) compliance services to the Life Science Industry.  Working with your scientific and quality staff we provide comprehensive customized solutions to your compliance needs while meeting your timelines. 

We provide a broad range of GLP auditing and consultation services including CRO/vendor audits, study in-process inspection, data and report reviews and GLP implementation services.

The Difference

The founder has previously held positions of increasing responsibility working with GLP QA compliance at two pharmaceutical companies and two CROs and has in-depth experience with a variety of approaches to GLP.  In addition, we have background supporting a wide range of study types for global submissions.

This perspective allows for a tailored approach to compliance issues with solutions that are appropriate to your business needs.

Who We Are

Scott Rumsey is the founder of GLP Quality Consulting, LLC.  He has over 18 years experience working with FDA, EPA, and OECD Good Laboratory Practice Regulations.  He has worked for Fortune 500 pharmaceutical companies and leading Contract Research Organizations (CROs).  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Biology and is a Registered Quality Assurance Professional in GLPs (RQAP-GLP) by the Society of Quality Assurance. Mr. Rumsey has extensive experience auditing facilities and CROs, conducting in-process inspections, data reviews, report audits, and hosting regulatory inspections.  Prior to Quality Assurance he worked in toxicology.  He is a member of the Society of Quality Assurance (SQA), the Midwest Regional Chapter SQA, and the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS).   Current CV.
